MVS Solutions President Selected by Larta Institute as Primary Mentor in ATP Entrepreneur Training Program

(MALDEN, MA) May 2006- Dr. Louis M. Scarmoutzos, President & Founder of MVS Solutions, Inc., has been selected by the Larta Institute as a Primary Mentor in the Advanced Technology Program (ATP) Entrepreneur Training Program. This nationwide training program is provided to ATP awardee companies and is managed by the Larta Institute.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Advanced Technology Program (ATP) works with industry by investing in high risk research with longer-term payoffs. This shared investment program helps accelerate the development of innovative technologies for early-stage high tech companies. According to Dr. Scarmoutzos, Primary Mentors in the ATP Entrepreneur Training Program provide individualized mentoring and entrepreneurial assistance to the ATP awardee companies.

Dr. Scarmoutzos' dual proficiency in science and business is particularly well-suited for the ATP Entrepreneur Training Program. His savvy business skills along with his strong science background and commercialization expertise make him an ideal Mentor for the ATP training program.
